OZtrail Resort Beach Dome Setup, Features & Specifications Review | Stay Sun Smart!

– So, this is the OZtrail
Resort Beach Dome bag. As you can see, it’s nice and compact. There’s a lovely little
carry handle on the top. And it weighs only 2.2
kilos. So what’s that I hear? The beach isn’t for you,
or you live in one of our poor, lesser-sun unfortunate states? Follow me. So here we are at home,
and I’m going to show you how to set up the OZtrail Resort Dome. It comes in a great
little handy carry-bag, like I said, 2.2 kilos. Inside you have your Dome, you have a bag with your pegs in it, and a bag with your poles. We won’t be putting the pegs up today. All you do is open her up, grab your poles, you have one long pole, which
goes at the front of the Dome, and two short poles. Now the OZtrail Resort Dome
is a three-person dome. It’s rated for 50 plus on the SPF rating. I’m just setting the poles up,
you can see it’s fairly quick and easy. Take your large pole. Gets threaded through
the front of your dome, and your two small poles go across the back. One at the other side. So your small poles come through the back over the large pole and through the next loop, and there’s a clip at
the front they go into. This part of your pole
goes into the rivet hole and the second part of the large pole comes through to the second rivet hole. Make sure your front is still
in the rivet at the top. Hold the peg down over your awning. At the back of your Resort Dome, slide the foot of your pole, once again into the rivet hole. As you can see, this is the OZtrail Resort Dome set up. Now what I like about this dome
is when we go to the beach, normally we go swimming, or go for a walk, we have one eye on our
belongings we’ve left behind while we’re trying to have fun in the sun. As I said, the Resort Dome
is a three-person dome, the added benefit of being
able to put your belongings on the inside. And then totally close it up. So while you’re at the beach,
and you’re having a great time your belongings are safe and
sound inside your OZtrail Resort Dome. So, on the inside, we have little windows for ventilation on both sides. Easily accessed by Velcro. Underneath the windows, you have pockets to put your belongings, so that they’re not sitting in the sand and the dust. And they’re kept in a
nice safe and secure area. A few added bonus benefits
of the OZtrail Resort Dome are your dogs love it, on the sides. In various places we have four guy ropes, one, two, three, and four. Make sure that when you
do go the beach that these are put down and tied out. So packing up the OZtrail Resort Dome, is easy when you don’t have a dog in it. So it’s as simple as pulling your poles back out, taking your dog’s ball out, so fold your Resort Dome into quarters. In half. Your tent pegs go on the top. Poles are a simple click-clack method. These we’ll pop into the pole bag. Lay them across your Resort Dome. Roll it up, pop it back into the bag. And you’re all ready for
your next trip to the beach or the backyard. So as you can see, lovely three-man tent, or if you’re like me,
one woman and two dogs. This is Fiona from Tentworld, Townsville, signing off. Have a great day, make sure
